Foot Reflexology
Foot Reflexology
Relax and rejuvenate with a targeted foot reflexology session.
Service Description
Reflexology is a non-intrusive, safe, touch therapy and can be received by all ages, ranging from newborn babies to those receiving end-of-life care. Reflexology is also a popular therapy used during many life stages such as puberty, trying to conceive, pregnancy and menopause and can often be found in various NHS health settings across the UK, such as cancer care units, maternity wards and pain clinics. Reflexology treatments are tailored to the individual, with the aim of restoring the body's natural balance and promoting an enhanced feeling of well-being by applying pressure on specific points on the feet. Reflexology operates on the principle that specific points (reflexes) on the feet, hands, face, and ears correspond to different organs and systems in the body. Applying pressure to these points stimulates energy flow (Qi) and encourages the body's natural ability to heal and balance itself. Believed to have many benefits, such as supporting detoxification, boosting energy, aiding digestion, and helping manage symptoms of various conditions like arthritis or cancer side effects.
